Software Development Engineer 2 (SANSymphony)

Role:

We are looking for a Software Engineer who can act as a key contributor in developing software solutions that supports organization strategy and vision, ensuring alignment between the technical solutions and the business needs. The successful candidate will be actively involved in every phase of the software system development lifecycle, collaborating with our team to deliver top-notch, high-performance systems that effectively cater to the needs of our stakeholders.

Duties:

Key responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop system-level software on Windows server platform using C++ and C#
  • Conduct debugging for complex issues and analyze crash dumps using Team’s guidance
  • Be a part of world class Agile Team, responsible for completing the R&D activities per the Senior Engineer(s) guidance 
  • Contribute actively to requirement analysis for the new features
  • Adhere to established software development guidelines and procedures within the company
  • Embrace continuous learning and application of cutting-edge practices throughout the entire product development lifecycle.

Essential skills and experience required:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum 2-4 years’ of industry experience as a Software Developer
  • Excellent problem-solving skills 
  • Strong coding skills in C/C++/C#
  • Exposure to unit testing, hands on debugging and troubleshooting skills.
  • Good  understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
  • Exposure to Agile methodologies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skill
  • Self-starter with extreme comfort in collaborating with geographically dispersed teams.

Optional skills and experience:

  • Windows services & desktop applications focus, knowledge /  experience of designing, coding and debugging in Windows C++, C# .Net. Experience with systems software development over Windows OS 
  • Multi-threaded programming and OS internals.
