DataCore’s new adaptive Parallel I/O Software that multiplies the performance of virtualized and hyper-converged systems with multi processors. The new

In addition, DataCore introduces universal Virtual Volumes (VVOL), a new vSphere Wizard for the rapid implementation of hyper-converged systems, SAP HANA®
certification and gives a preview on a common hyper-converged Appliance with Fujitsu.
DataCore Adaptive Parallel I/O Software
Visitors can gain an initial insight into the
new DataCore™ Adaptive Parallel I/O Software
at booth 655. The technology allows for the first time an adaptive, parallel I/O processing in multi core processors. Especially workload-intensive data
processing in OLTP-, real-time analysis-, Business intelligence and Data Warehouse systems as well as SQL-, SAP- and Oracle-databases benefit from massive
performance multipliers. With DataCore’s new Parallel I/O technology, virtual machines can be packed more densely on hyper-converged systems
and thus savings can be realized at a previously unmatched level.
Advanced VMware vSphere Integration with Universal VVOL
DataCore introduces universal Virtual Volume (VVOL)-support for its platforms. Administrators can deploy virtual drives via the vSphere interface from any
storage hardware (disk subsystems, SSD arrays, DAS etc.), even if they do not support Vmware’s VVOL. In addition DataCore presents a vSphere Wizard with
which the hyper-converged systems can be set up and configured automated on ESXi clusters with the DataCore Virtual SAN.
SAP HANA-certification
The SAP Integration and Certification Center (SAP ICC) has certified SANsymphony-V as the first software-based storage virtualization solution for SAP
HANA®. As a successfully tested interoperable Enterprise Storage Solution, DataCore can now participate in the SAP HANA’s Data Center integration programme
in the future.
Preview: Hyper-converged Appliance with Fujitsu
After the successful market launch of the software-based storage solution Storage Virtualization Appliance (SVA), Fujitsu and DataCore are working on the
development of a common Hyper-Converged Appliance based on Hyper-V and DataCore™ Virtual SAN. DataCore gives a first preview of the soon to be General
Availability market-ready solution.
